This study attempts to assess the economic growth potentiality of agricultural specialization item by the location quotient and regional growth rate differential analysis, the data for the study is based on the secondary data, which is the cultivated area data and agricultural output data in the Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. the result shows that total growth rate differential(TGD) is a positive effect in the long-term, thus, soybeans and sweet potatoes are classified as agricultural products with growth potential. By having a positive effect in TGD like this, this is because diversification efforts and competitiveness on soybeans-sweet potatoes producing districts make an impact on agricultural specialization item. By use of the results of the analysis, it would be contributed to building the infrastructure for business in its early stages and a consumer driven model
