초록 The purposes of this study are to investigate the role of NACF in agricultural retail market and to find some implications for promoting the role of NACF in agricultural marketing. To achieve these purpose, this study investigates the role of NACF in oligopolistic markets by empirical analysis based on the competition yardstick theory, From the results of the empirical analysis, this study found that NACF has a role as competition yardstick though it has limited market share. In other words, restricting monopolistic behavior of other dominating large retailers, NACF contributes to social welfare by promoting consumer surplus and by improving farm income.
