During the last years the european agricultural market and policy required a new orientation in the agricultural education, especially agricultural economics in germany. Hence the most faculties of agricultural sciences in germany created a new profile of vocational training which was adapted to the new situation. In addition to the typical existing specific courses "Plant Production", "Animal Production", "Economics and Social Science", "Agriculture and the environment" has been supplemented by the new focal point "Agribusiness", which hits the special requirements of agroindustry and international agricultural marketing. This means the impartment of special knowledge in courses related to agricultural production as well as enterprise controlling and marketing. Since the reform of federal education system 1998 in germany, complete new structure of the curriculum in agricultural education has developed which leads to a clear arrangement of courses and facilitates the national as well as the international students exchange between universities. This was realized by the introduction of the so called "modular system" and the establishment of the international degrees B.sc. and M.Sc.
